CostMe (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use the CostMe mobile app.

2. Data you enter in the app

CostMe is designed to work without creating an account.
The spending data you enter in the app (trackers, expenses, notes, categories, budgets, settings) is stored locally on your device.

3. Data we may process through service providers

To keep the app stable and provide subscriptions, we use third-party providers:

a) Sentry (crash and diagnostics)

We may collect technical diagnostics such as crash logs, device type, OS version, app version, and performance/error events.

Purpose: app stability, debugging, and performance improvements.

b) RevenueCat (subscriptions)

For in-app purchases/subscriptions, RevenueCat processes subscription-related metadata (for example, product identifiers, entitlement status, and store transaction data) to validate purchases and restore access.

Purpose: subscription management and purchase restoration.

4. No sale of personal data

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Tracking and advertising

CostMe does not use third-party advertising SDKs for behavioral advertising.
We do not use your financial entries for ad targeting.

6. Data sharing

We only share data with service providers necessary to operate the app (e.g., Sentry, RevenueCat, Apple App Store / Google Play billing systems).

7. Data retention

Local app data remains on your device unless you delete it or uninstall the app.
Diagnostic and subscription metadata retention depends on our service providers’ policies.

8. Your choices and controls

You can:
– delete app data by uninstalling the app,
– export your data using in-app export,
– contact us for privacy questions.

9. Children

CostMe is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).

10. International users

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own by our service providers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
